Few Set up & Breakdown things...

Just to re-iterate Interior you will need to have everything packed down on the Tuesday 29th June as the Retreat will re-open at 10am on the 30th.

PD we have the Sports Hall until 12pm on the 30th June.

Those who are using the hire tables these will need to be left in the sports hall ready for collection.

I have been assured by Jongors that we will be getting the tables first thing on Monday 21st morning at 8.30am and they will be picking them up on Wed 30th in morning.

Printing updated

Hello

Just to update you from meeting, DEC will not charge you for the printing of your names that go accross the top of your boards.

However there may be cost involved in printing of your images as post below.

I was asked to remind you that there will be some costs involved for printing on the more expensive high gloss paper when printing you images for your stand at the festival.

Richard Frame in DEC will be able to advise.

Board Painting

To clarify you will not need to buy the paint, we will will do this and provide this for you.

Students will need to paint their boards I suggest that only a few of you say 4 / 5 do this at a time as we have to put tarpaulin down to make sure we don’t get paint everywhere.

Please can you make sure you clean your brushes after use and let Brian know when you are finished. We can not keep replacing brushes that are ruined because they have not been cleaned.

Boards can be painted next week Tuesday – Thursday 9am – 8pm Brian Wright is the contact for painting of boards.

Health & Saftey Training

I have arranged the sessions with Adam Wright to be at the following times in P405 next week 14 - 18 June.

Sessions are at 11 - 12pm or 2 - 3pm

Product Design – Monday
Industrial Design – Tuesday
Interior Design – Wednesday
Design Engineering – Thursday
CAPD - Friday
MAT - Monday 21st 1.30pm (changed from 9.30am).

If any of your coursemates are unable to attend the sessions at those specific times just let me know Adam is flexible next week but we will need to book a room to use.

Note that ALL students must receive Health & Saftey manual training before they are allowed to set up their stand at the show.
